Had the opportunity to photograph arguably one of my favorite musicians. Father John Misty brings new life to what it means to be a performer.
My Seattle crew and I flew down to San Francisco for the weekend to experience some Bay Area city life. We rented a house in the Castro (I highly recommend Castle Dreiskull Pleasure Den), and romped around the city like the tourists most of us were. It really says something about who your friends are when you can roll 8 deep on the same flights and get along so well. Below are photos from our golden hour session at Corona Heights Peak, a 5 minute walk from where we stayed.
What a year! So much has happened.
Here are my favorite moments from 2014 in chronological order. Cheers!~
It felt good to get up before the sun did, even on vacation, and go shoot some photos with my good friend Lam. We go way back. Sad we only get to see each other about once a year these days.
Took a little walk with Brie and Taylor yesterday morning in Capitol Hill. Brie is a fashion blogger based in Pheonix, AZ. Her and Taylor found me on Instagram, and wanted to do some couple shots while they were here in Seattle visiting family. It was a great time showing them around the hill. Great couple. Beautiful fall morning.
This past weekend, Jaki and I ventured out with two of my very best friends and shot their engagement photoshoot. I've known Jake since the fall of 2005 when we played on WWU's water polo team together and eventually became college room mates. We've remained close friends throughout the years. I will go to my death bed claiming I got Jake and Katie together (it's true!). They're the best couple I can imagine. I'm blessed to be in their wedding party. I cannot wait to see these two get hitched next year and grow old and wrinkly together.
Below is a collection of shots from the day. Will post the full session later on. Enjoy. :)
Last Friday evening we took a little drive to Bob's Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch. Got lost at night in the Corn Maze. Hot cider, whiskey & Friends. The best.
